Leon Leadership Award
Each year, this award honours the head of a federal institution who has shown outstanding leadership in promoting linguistic duality and implementing the official languages program in his or her institution.
The Office of the Commissioner of Official Languages selects the recipient of the Leon Leadership Award based on the excellence of the bilingual services offered to the public, a workplace that is conducive to the use of both official languages, the implementation of Part VII
of the Official Languages Act and, in general, the management of the Official Languages Program.
